[From the Peter Kreeft
Website]
Dr. Kreeft is Professor of Philosophy at Boston College, where he has taught for nearly 40 yrs. He has authored 43 books, including;
Back to Virtue, How To Win The Culture War, and Three Approaches to
Abortion, and most recently, Philosophy of Tolkien. Kreeft is an adult convert to Catholicism, and known world-wide and cross-denominationally as an expert Christian apologist.
Kreeft's conversion to the Faith, described in his essay, "Hauled Aboard the
Ark" was a long and winding road from Dutch Reformed Calvinist to student of literature, history, and philosophy, and finally to concede, "I am happy as a child to follow Christ's vicar on earth everywhere he leads. What he loves, I love; what he leaves, I leave; where he leads, I follow. For the Lord we both adore said to Peter his predecessor, "Who hears you, hears Me." That is why I am a Catholic: because I am a Christian."
